Hesweiler

Hiking through forest and meadows

Hesweiler, the small hospitable village in the front of Hunsrück, is situated in a beautiful environment with deciduous and mixed forests. Here, visitors can get to know the original landscape of the Hunsrück on well-developed hiking trails. Hesweiler is a good starting point for hikes to the Flaumbach and the Hanosiusmühle.

The community is connected to the surrounding villages by the "Kirchspiel-Wanderweg" (parish hiking trail). It offers numerous opportunities for short and extended hikes. The chapel in the village was built in 1847 and is dedicated to Saint Joseph.
