Geierlay, the most beautiful suspension rope bridge in Germany, in the middle of Hunsrück. This impressive structure spans the valley between Sosberg and Mörsdorf. Via an access path of approx. 2 km, you hike to the respective bridgehead of Sosberg and Mörsdorf. Now it's time for pure adrenaline! As you walk across the bridge, you experience unique views of the Hunsrück.
Those who still haven't had enough after visiting the bridge can hike via the "Geierlayschleife" to the Mörsdorf Visitor Centre. Parking spaces are located in the two local communities, as parking at the bridge is not possible. The bridge is freely accessible at all times. In extreme weather conditions (e.g. hurricane, heavy thunderstorm) and for maintenance, temporary closure is possible.
