Johannis-Kapelle (Johannis chapel) The chapel was built in 1792. It is a simple massif making in hall form with nine round bow window, round arch portal and a belltower made of slate as a roof rider.
The high altar in the style of Louis XVI with the statue of John the Baptist comes from the Johanniskapelle in Corray near Zell, which was closed under French rule in 1790 and later auctioned off. On the altar is the statue of Saint Catherine and Saint Barbara. Noteworthy are also the two Madonnas, each with child, and a figure of Saint Joseph. To this day, two very old bells have been preserved, one from the 14th century and the other from the year 1498. The latter was probably only acquired in 1792 for the furnishing of the new chapel for 90 RTlr. The bell founder Clais, who came from Ehnen in the municipality of Wormeldingen in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, was a renowned master of his time.
The former prayer house is now one of the cultural monuments of the district.
