With the Bullayer "Brautrock" fountain, the citizens of the community of Bullay have created a worthy monument to their large-scale wine facility "Bullayer Brautrock".
With the Bullayer "Bridal Skirt" fountain, the citizens of the municipality of Bullay have erected a worthy monument to their large wine estate "Bullayer Bridal Skirt." The fountain was built in 1990 by the renowned artist Scherl from Wittlich. Notably, the bride is made entirely of copper. The famous large wine estate "Bullayer Bridal Skirt" is based on a legend from long ago: To refill the count's coffers, Count Beissel pawned his vineyard to pay for the bridal equipment, including the bridal skirt, for a knight's daughter whom his son was to marry. Ironically, the future father-in-law was the pawnbroker, who then provided his daughter with the bridal equipment himself and returned the vineyard to his son-in-law at the wedding, but not without ulterior motives, as he demanded that all proceeds from this vineyard should go to his daughter - The vineyard bore his name.
