Kaimt Cultural Cinema – ‘Miroirs No. 3’

By a miracle, piano student Laura survives a severe car accident during a trip to the outskirts of Berlin. Physically unharmed, but internally thrown off course, she finds refuge in the home of Betty, who witnessed the accident. From the very first moment, the two women share a deep affection. Laura enjoys Betty's motherly care, the work in the garden, the visits to the workshop of Betty's husband Richard and their son Max, and the shared meals. An almost carefree, happy time of togetherness begins, a late summer dream that Laura and the family gladly surrender to. But there is something not right, a deep, dark pain that connects all four and yet remains unspoken. Laura senses that they must awaken from this dream to be able to live and love again.
