77-year-old Tereza lives in a small industrial town in the Amazon region. One day, she receives the official order from the government to move to a senior colony in a remote area. Here, the elderly are supposed to "enjoy" their last years while the younger generation can fully focus on productivity and economic growth. But Tereza resists. She embarks on a journey deeper into the Amazon, through the tributaries and the jungle. She wants to fulfill one last wish before her freedom is taken away from her. One last wish that will transform Tereza and steer her life in a new direction.
