Like every year, the curious mouse Lea and her family are looking forward to a cozy Christmas celebration. But just before Christmas Eve, their peace is disturbed when unexpectedly people settle in their house: Mikkel and his family have inherited the long-abandoned property where they now want to spend the holidays together. Firmly resolved to thwart the intruders' plans, the little rodents bring out all their tactics to drive them away – while a real friendship develops between Lea and Mikkel amidst the chaos.
