16 years ago, the resistance group called "French 75" freed 200 prisoners in one fell swoop from the clutches of the ruthless United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement – known as ICE. After that, the resistors, including the man known by everyone as Ghetto Pat, Bob Ferguson (Leonardo DiCaprio), vanished from the scene.
The Oscar-winning film "One Battle After Another" portrays the washed-up stoner father Bob, who lives in paranoia and survives with his spirited, independent daughter Willa (Chase Infiniti) on the fringes of civilization. When his arch-nemesis (Sean Penn) reappears after 16 years and Willa goes missing, the former radical sets out to find her. Father and daughter grapple with the consequences of his past.
"One Battle After Another" also won Oscars at the 98th Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actor (Sean Penn), Best Casting, Best Director (Paul Thomas Anderson), and Best Screenplay.
