St. Aldegund

In the heart of the beautiful Mosel landscape

St. Aldegund is a small, idyllically situated holiday resort in the heart of the beautiful Mosel landscape between Trier and Koblenz. In the centre of the village, lovingly restored half-timbered houses and narrow, winding alleys, as well as excavations from Roman times, bear witness to the community's 900-year history. On hikes through the shady forests, you can enjoy magnificent views of the Mosel valley and make exciting discoveries along the way.

The culture trail with the name "Felsen. Fässer.Fachwerk. St. Aldegund" promises a unique hiking experience, which is why it has already been awarded the Hiker's Seal as a premium hiking trail. The extensive network of cycle paths along the Mosel is also well developed and signposted. You can get to know the Mosel valley from its lovely side on a boat trip. The landing stage is located directly in St. Aldegund - directly above a river's barrage.
