Insights into the Moselle wine world and panoramic views into the Moselle valley and the sights opposite such as Marienburg, Arras Castle and the Prinzenkopf Tower illuminate this beautiful hike through the vineyards. At a total of 15 informational boards, you will find numerous details about the work of the vintners, the vineyard location, and the grape varieties. Rest benches invite you to relax and enjoy.
Start: Church of St. Michael in Merl - behind the church turn left towards Grenderich - after 100 m keep left and follow the Pissamann sign uphill - turn left onto the gravel path, uphill on the right past the Schommer winery - continue uphill on the right and straight ahead to Bullay – at the new development area go left downhill - turn left onto the vineyard path - after the ascent keep right and run downhill behind the Thielen and Scheid wineries on the right - turn left at the Schommer winery - lower path straight ahead, past Merl cemetery back to the starting point.
