Culinary Pentecost Wine Hiking around Marienburg, Pentecost Sunday, June 8, 2025, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Summer is approaching, as is the widely popular Pentecost Wine Hiking event, which leads along one of the most beautiful circular hiking trails near Zell on the Mosel, along the narrowest Mosel bend. The tour takes you through sunny steep vineyard slopes and shady forest paths. You will reach many beautiful destinations and experience up close the fascinating Mosel wine cultural landscape, as well as impressive railway architecture with Germany’s longest hillside viaduct or the Bullay double-deck bridge. A very special natural experience on this circular route is the panoramic view from Marienburg and the Prinzenkopf observation tower, from where the Mosel can be seen from three different perspectives. A phenomenon unique to Europe's most beautiful river course.

Along the well-marked and approx. 10 km long route, winemakers and clubs from the Mosel villages Alf, Briedel, Pünderich, Reil, and Zell (Mosel) treat wine and hiking enthusiasts with Moselle regional dishes and delicious wines at their stops.
