A hike with magnificent panoramic views of the Moselle valley and Germany's narrowest Moselle loop. The highlight of the hike in the Zellerland is the Prinzenkopfturm located behind Marienburg. There you can see the Moselle twice and enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of Germany's narrowest Moselle loop and the heights of the Eifel and Hunsrück.
Start: "Zeller Schwarze Katz" fountain at the market square - to the Moselle riverbank - then right - over the pedestrian bridge to the Kaimt district – opposite the stairs up - left to the stairs at the church - stairs up to the federal road - continue left - on the other side of the street follow the sign "Bildstöckchen" - second turn right - keep right at the crossroads - go straight at the next crossroads - then right at the crossroads - follow the path to the federal road - right to the curve - at the curve follow signs to Marienburg - straight ahead - behind the house "Nonnekehr" turn right onto the path - left at the crossing - follow the path - next crossroads right - straight ahead - past the Walfrieden house - turn left - left again - straight ahead to the Drieschhütte - continue left on the Moselle trail - straight past the Prinzenkopf - follow the lower path - down through the vineyards below Marienburg - continue left straight ahead - keep right - continue on the Moselle trail - up to the B53 - again over the cemetery at the church - straight ahead - down the stairs again - over the pedestrian bridge - back to the starting point
Attention: before crossing the main road, you currently have to climb over the crash barrier!

Viewing point Prinzenkopfturm with magnificent panoramic views.
Cross over the B53 to the opposite Moselle side (over the double-deck bridge Bullay or the Zell-Kaimt car bridge). Then straight ahead to the market square (town hall, Balduinstr. 44, 56856 Zell (Mosel)).

Free parking available in the streets "Brandenburg" and "Am Bahnhof"
by train to Bullay and then further with lines 720, 721, or 750 to Zell (Mosel), Lindenplatz
