Grenderich

Barefoot park for young and old

In the middle of the beautiful natural and cultural landscape, Grenderich is located very close to the Mosel valley. Lovingly restored half-timbered houses are grouped in the centre of Genderich around the parish church of St. Matthias, which was built from 1870-1872. Just outsite the village is the Barefoot Park, nestled in the natural Hunsrück landscape.

Between meadows, forest and water, you can train your fitness here, walk barefoot over pine cones and feel the beneficial effects of Kneipp's water-treading. There is also a large children's playground on the multi-generation park grounds.
