Enjoy great views on the Panoramaweg high above the Saar-Mosel town of Konz. A circular route past the Roscheider Hof open-air museum with a detour into the Konzer valley!

Park for free in the parking lot at the stadium/school center in Konz. From there, hike through the residential area, past the war memorial, into the elevated district Konz-Roscheid. Follow the Panoramaweg with fantastic views, high above the rooftops of the Saar-Mosel town of Konz. Enjoy the view of the unique river landscape and the town with its many bridges. Then continue to the Roscheider Hof open-air museum. Past the farmstead, continue through the residential area of the elevated district Konz-Roscheid. You enter the quiet forest and walk a bit through the "Konzer Tälchen". The circular route ends back at the parking lot of the stadium in Konz.

Parking lot at the Konz stadium - turn left into "Lindenstraße" - straight ahead - turn right into the street "Am Sprung" - follow the street "Im Sprung" to the right - cross "Roscheider Straße", past the war memorial - follow the "Panoramaweg" to the Roscheider Hof open-air museum - past the Roscheider Hof - cross the street "Seif-Wald-Ring" - straight through the residential area - turn right back onto the street "Seif-Wald-Ring" - at the next intersection turn right into the street "Kleewiese" - turn right at the end of the street - cross the street "Heckenrosenweg" - continue straight along the path by the forest - at the end of the residential area continue straight through the forest - past the St. Sebastianus fountain over the parking lot and past the Marien Chapel back to the parking lot at the Konz stadium

 

Please note that this hiking trail is not a certified premium hiking trail and there is no continuous signage of the route. Furthermore, the path partly runs on paved service roads and not on narrow paths.

Please wear sturdy footwear!

Tip

Enjoy the fantastic view of the Saar-Mosel town of Konz.
A detour to the oil mill in Konz-Niedermennig (at the town entrance) is worth it.

You reach Konz via the B51.

Free parking at the sports stadium/Lindenstraße, 54329 Konz

Public transit

Train: Take the Saarbrücken - Trier line to the Konz main station. From there, walk about 5 minutes to the starting point (from the station to the roundabout/Paul-Mager-Platz - exit Michael-Scherer-Straße - immediately turn right into the street "An der Lichtsmühle" - entry to the path/street "Am Sprung".
