There are hardly any better views of the Moselle Valley – for example, the famous Moselle bend between Kröv and Wolf, or the stunning panorama of the Art Nouveau town Traben-Trarbach.
Over 32 km, you’ll experience the Moselle Valley at its finest: Starting in Kröv, you climb up to Mont Royal, continue on to Traben-Trarbach, then cross the river to Wolf, head up the Wolfer Berg, and return via Kinheim to Kröv.

Directions
The tour starts in Kröv. Just outside the village, the vineyard path runs for about 2 km straight through the world-famous Kröver Nacktarsch vineyard. Once you reach the top of Mont Royal, follow the road up to the airfield – please note: there is no separate bike path here.
At the Rabenwerk viewpoint, enjoy a fantastic panorama before descending through the Traben-Trarbach vineyards. In the Rißbach district, you reach the cycle path and follow the signs toward Wolf. Shortly before entering Wolf, leave the Moselle Cycle Path and climb the hill toward Koppelberg.
From there, paved farm roads lead you onto the Wolfer Berg, through an underpass and briefly alongside the B50. Continue toward Zeltingen-Rachtig, then follow the Moselle Cycle Path to the charming wine village of Kinheim.
After crossing the Moselle again, the road takes you up to the Kinheimer Höhe, which offers another stunning view. From there, continue to the roundabout at the entrance to Kröv.
Safety Guidelines
In summer, it can get very hot in the vineyard sections – make sure to bring suitable gear (sun protection, water, hat).

For your safety, please always wear a helmet while cycling.
Tip
Just before the descent to Traben-Trarbach, you'll find the Rabenwerk viewpoint, offering a unique and breathtaking view of the Moselle Valley.
