Stations include the village square and city gate, synagogue square, Maximin official house, neo-Gothic church and baroque parsonage, Maximin tithe barn, Freudenburg Castle, city gate and tower house, market square and the Jewish cemetery.

No hiking equipment is required for this walk.

Tip

Short barrier-free path on continuously paved ways. The parish church is accessible on the ground level. Stations 6 (castle complex) and 9 (Jewish cemetery) are only accessible via stairs. Return route via city gate and Balduin Street is recommended. 

Getting there

You can reach Freudenburg by car via the B 407 and the L 131.

Parking

Sufficient parking is available at the starting point at the village square.

Public transit

You can reach Freudenburg by bus lines 241, 245, 246, 248.
