This route connects Rhineland-Palatinate and the Saarland. You cycle along the Saar and Mosel rivers.
From the Saar-Mosel town of Konz at the confluence of the Saar, you follow the Saar Cycle Path via the wine villages of Schoden and Ockfen to Saarburg (Tip: medieval center with castle complex and waterfall). You continue along the Saar, past Serrig, to the Saar loop at Mettlach and further into the Saarland to Merzig. From Merzig, you cycle along the international sculptors' symposium "Stones on the Border" and cross the heights of the Saargau. You cycle down into the Upper Mosel valley at Perl. From Perl you cycle on the German Mosel side via Nennig and reach Rhineland-Palatinate again. Along the wine villages of Palzem, Nittel, Oberbillig and Wasserliesch, you return to Konz.
