Tip
Above Oberfell, there are breathtaking views of the Moselle valley, Thurant Castle, and excellent panoramic views of the Vordereifel. In addition, you pass the replica of a Homo erectus campsite, a Celtic post-slot wall, and the pilgrimage church on the Bleidenberg.

Free parking available at the St. Nikolaus daycare center or the gravel parking lot in Schulstraße in Oberfell.
Public transit
Bus line 31 coming from Koblenz or Burgen. Get off at Oberfell Mitte/Hauptstraße.
About 200 m walk to the trailhead.
