This circular route leads from Konz along the Moselle cycle path to Luxembourg. Here you cross the country until you reach the Moselle cycle path again before Wasserbillig.
Konz - Wasserliesch - Oberbillig - Temmels - Wellen - Nittel - Wincheringen - Wormeldingen (L) - circular trip Luxembourg (with ascents and descents): Lenningen - Ehnen - Canach - Kavishoff-Schuttrange - Schuttrange - Uebersyren - Mensdorf - Roodt-sur-Syre - Olingen-Betzdorf - Hagelsdorf - towards Biwer and Wecker - Manternach - Mertert - Wasserbillig - Oberbillig (D) - back to the starting point in Konz.
Numerous sights and idyllic landscapes await you along this bike ride:
- The Wine Museum in Ehnen illustrates the work areas of the winemakers and the technical process of wine production; a model vineyard can also be visited!
- The Moselle ferry "Sankta Maria II" connects Luxembourg and Germany and takes you from Wasserbillig (L) to Oberbillig (D).

Start is at the Tourist Information, Saarstr. 1, 54329 Konz. You cross the Saar bridge and then pass under the Saar bridge to the left, following the riverside cycle path to Wasserliesch. You pass Oberbillig, Temmels, Wellen and reach Nittel. Our route continues to the Mosel bridge at Wincheringen, which you cross to Wormeldingen (L). After the bridge, turn left and cycle towards Ehnen, which you reach via the color-marked side strips of the N 10.
Passing the Wine Museum, you turn towards Lenningen. In Ehnen, there is an ascent of 400 m in length with slopes between 5 and 10%. Then an ascent of 5.4 km with slopes between 1 and 3%, interrupted by some flat sections between 100 and 300 m. At the exit of Canach, turn right towards Kavishoff-Schuttrange. After a 200 m long descent, there is a 1 km climb with slopes between 3 and 7%. Then follows a 2.6 km descent with a gradient between 1 and 4%.
When you reach the stop street in Schuttrange, turn right towards Uebersyren. After a slightly hilly section, follows a 1.5 km long descent to Mensdorf with an average gradient of 3%. In Mensdorf, turn left towards Roodt-sur-Syre; when you reach the N 1, turn right and then 100 m left in the direction of Olingen-Betzdorf. In Roodt-sur-Syre, turn right onto the cycle path to Olingen. In Olingen, cross the street and continue on the cycle path to Betzdorf. On the left, you see the satellite dishes of RTL and ASTRA. When you then reach the main street, turn left towards Biwer.
At the intersection, turn right towards Wecker-Manternach. Behind Hagelsdorf, there is a 1 km ascent with 1 to 2%. On the main street, turn left towards Biwer. Before Biwer, before the railway crossing, turn right towards Wecker and pass the station to Manternach. You ride through Syretal Street down into the charming valley of the Syre to Mertert. Up to Wasserbillig, follow the Moselle bank. You cross by ferry to Oberbillig (D) and finish your bike ride at your starting point.
Important note about the bike tour proposal:
This route proposal runs on different supra-regional cycle paths in the Rhineland-Palatinate region. There is no uniform signage for the route.
Bring enough provisions!
You will find e-bike charging stations along the route in: Konz (at the main station), Wincheringen (at the market), Nittel (at the village square), Oberbillig (at the ferry terminal).

You can reach Konz from Trier or Saarburg via the B 51 or along the Upper Moselle via the B 419.
Free parking is available at the main station in Konz, at the market directly at the town hall, or at the carpool parking lot on B 419 (at Luxemburger Damm).
