General information

Directions

We leave the hiking parking lot at Hinzenburg and follow the Hb1 signs. The path is marked in both directions. If you follow the trail above the village, it first leads through a forested area. After 3 km we reach the Seiferingstein, an exposed quartzite rock. According to legend, the Seiferingstein is a magnificent dwarf castle that fell into ruins because young fellows tried to steal the treasures of the dwarf king living there and his fairy bride....

After a short break at this legendary waypoint, the route continues towards Rauruwer, which you reach after another 1.5 km. We then follow the stream on an idyllic section. At kilometer 6 we turn right onto the service road that leads us back to the hiking parking lot.
