Town history-mosaic
The mosaic was created by the artist Monika Nicolay-Bolle from Zeltingen-Rachtig and was presented to the public on December 6, 1999.
It depicts, among other things: the coat of arms of the town of Zell and its three partner cities (Antoinig, Triptis, Crépy-en-Valois), the landmarks of the town (Round Tower, Square Tower, "Black Cat" Fountain), the Moselle loop, the Hunger Cross, the Executioner's Cross, representations from the Roman and Celtic periods, the completion of the city fortifications in 1229.
