The Lay Winery in Pünderich is a small family winery with roots dating back to the 16th century. Located in the historic town center, the winery primarily produces typical Mosel wines – above all Riesling – which impress with their lightness, freshness, and mineral character. The steep slate slopes around the Marienburg are mostly cultivated by hand, giving the wines their distinctive character.
The winery's tavern offers the opportunity to enjoy these wines on-site in a cozy atmosphere. Small dishes are served, ideal for a relaxing evening by the Mosel. It is open seasonally (from early May to the end of October), with wine tastings for smaller groups.
