The Lay winery in Pünderich is a small family-owned winery with roots dating back to the 16th century.
Located in the historic town center, the winery primarily produces typical Mosel wines – led by Riesling – which impress with their lightness, freshness, and mineral expression. The steep slate slopes around the Marienburg are mostly farmed by hand and give the wines their distinctive character.
The winery's tavern offers a cozy atmosphere to enjoy these wines on-site. Small dishes are served, ideal for a relaxed evening by the Mosel. It is open seasonally (from early May to the end of October), with wine tastings for smaller groups.
