General information

Openings
Closed from November until Good Friday.
The hut is open daily during the day from Good Friday until November 1, provided the weather is suitable for hiking.
If you want to be sure that the hut is open, you can inquire in advance with the hut keeper at +49 171 4123292. Alternatively, you can tell it is open when the blue Mosel wine flag is raised at the hut.
The flag at the hut is clearly visible from Pünderich, the Prinzenkopfturm, the Marienburg, and the Reiler Hals. Additionally, there is another flag in Alf, near the roundabout at the entrance to the hut. A sign is also mounted at this flagpole.
