Already a full success for five years – The Easter Path in Blankenrath
This year, the local heritage and transport association Blankenrath is looking forward to a small anniversary: for the fifth time, the association will create an Easter trail during the Easter holidays, which leads as a small circular path through the forest.
On the approximately 2 km long route, exciting play and experience stations await both young and old, along with a brightly decorated path adorned with self-made decorations. Of course, there will also be a raffle again this year. The participation numbers from previous years show that the trail has already established itself as a fixed part of the Easter season. Around 100 - 200 children per year have solved the puzzles in the forest in recent years, thus participating in the raffle. So it's a real outing tip for family fun during the Easter holidays.
The trail can be visited from Sunday, March 29, 2026 to including Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
The starting point is again at the entrance to the Saar-Hunsrück Steig at the end of the Mühlenweg in Blankenrath. Parking is available either directly at the beginning of the Mühlenweg on the left side or at the school center.
The local heritage and transport association also invites everyone to a small opening festival with coffee and cake at the musician's home in Blankenrath on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 2:30 PM and looks forward to numerous visitors at the festival and along the trail.
