Cultural Program House Waldfrieden: JÖRG BRINKMANN TRIO | LABYRINTH

The internationally renowned cellist Jörg Brinkmann (*1976) is one of the few well-known "crossover" cellists in the world. Jeroen van Vliet, pianist, composer, and piano lecturer, is a master of lyrical piano playing and thus the ideal partner for the cello. Dirk-Peter Kölsch, from the Moselle region, who has toured around the world, is the open-minded spirit behind the "percussion" and energetically integrates into the performance. The trio has been playing together for 18 years and brings together original compositions and arrangements from the Renaissance era in a fascinating way in their current program "Labyrinth"; through their intimate interplay, a tension arc is created that presents the music, partially composed centuries ago, in a new light.
