Joachim (Bruno Alexander) is unexpectedly accepted into the renowned acting school in Munich and moves into his grandparents' grand villa. There, he experiences a daily life full of curious rituals, shaped by the charming eccentricity and alcohol-soaked habits of his grandmother (Senta Berger) and grandfather (Michael Wittenborn). At the same time, Joachim dives into the intense and often bizarre world of theater, where passion, competition, and self-presentation set the tone. Between rehearsals and the peculiarities of family life, Joachim becomes caught in a whirlpool of self-doubt, quirky encounters, and inspiring moments. On his journey, he tries not only to assert himself in the theater world but also to discover who he really is.
