Buddha Museum

Traben-Trarbach is home to a unique Buddha collection, which illuminates, explores and questions the fascinating world of Buddhism with an exhibition in the Moselle Valley.

The exhibition area of 4,000 m² incl. a roof garden and open space of approx. 1,000 m² is located in the old Art Nouveau winery "Julius Kayser" built by the Berlin architect Bruno Möhring. The Art Nouveau elements create an invigorating and fascinating atmosphere in the huge space. Buddhism as a doctrine, philosophy and religion of different cultures can be experienced here. A number of pictures, sculptures and other collection pieces are intended to guide the visitor through a living culture that has had more than a magical effect on many people for 2500 years. The complexity of Buddhism is vividly presented with modern multimedia installations. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
