Our journey takes us along the Mosel past the Calmont, the steepest vineyard in Europe and Beilstein, the "Sleeping Beauty of the Mosel". Here you have a short stop to visit the picturesque village centre below the castle ruins. The journey continues to Cochem with its famous Reichsburg Castle. Stroll through the old town with its historic fortified towers and gates, picturesque half-timbered houses, the market square and the beautiful Mosel promenade. After this stop, we drive along the picturesque Lower Mosel to Koblenz. The Lower Mosel is particularly famous for its terraced vineyards - hence the name "Terrace Mosel". Our next stop is Koblenz, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Germany's oldest cities with over 2000 years of history.
You will learn more about the city's past and its sights during our city tour. A stop of several hours is made at the Deutsches Eck. You will have the opportunity ( at a reduced price ) to take the cable car across the Rhine to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and visit it. Enjoy a spectacular view of the Deutsches Eck with the Kaiser Wilhelm statue and the confluence of the Rhine and Mosel. Stroll along the beautiful Mosel promenade and visit the sights of the famous old town on your own. There is also the option of a boat trip around the German Corner. In the afternoon, you will start your journey home.
